The results within the HDGAS project have been divided in 7 different categories, please click the category to view the available reports.
Most of the reports are confidential (CO), in those cases only a public summary is available, which can be quite short.

Advanced LNG vehicle fuel system and standardizations of fueling process and interface

Definition of detailed requirements from vehicle to tank system incl. safety and testing concluded in a report. - Spraybar layout by ViF (CO)
Report about the spraybar layout design for position of bar in tank and number and direction of nozzles on the bar by simulation / calculation. A definition of operation strategy and validation by simulation / calculation is included. - Tank vessel simulation model by TUG (CO)
Tank vessel simulation model will be delivered to the involved partners in the format needed, the deliverable report will describe the simulation model.
- Fueling process simulation models finalized and validated by UASE (PU)
Report about the physical model for simulation process documentation and validation by comparison with real system test data.
- Tank system prototypes by SAG (CO)
Tank system prototypes (including low and high pressure pump) will be delivered in the project, the deliverable report (whihc wil be submitted in the system) will describe the Tank system prototype. - Standards for mechanical fueling interface and fueling process by DAIMLER (PU)
Proposal for standard for a mechanical fueling interface for LNG heavy duty vehicles and a standard process for refueling heavy duty vehicles with LNG.
- Powertrain testing in demonstrator vehicles completed and test results documented by IVECO (CO)
Implementation of the new engine, tank and fuel system in a demonstrator vehicle, in order to assess and demonstrate real driving emission and real world fuel efficiency.
- HP pump prototype by WESTPORT (CO)
Westport will customise a High pressure LNG pump prototype for projectpartner Volvo.
Exhaust after treatment systems and emission control (including ageing aspects)
- Output from catalyst model by UEF (CO)
Develop catalyst model to determine the feasibility of meeting Euro VI emissions legislation for different natural gas applications. Ageing impact on catalyst systems will be modelled to show impact of deactivation on catalyst efficiency.

Report of the performance and emissions of the Natural Gas, Positive Ignited, Direct Injection, Lean Burn engine installed on a test bench. There will be two parts of the report:

Low pressure dual fuel port injected engine development and vehicle integration
- Baseline engine performance by Idiada (CO)
Test report about the performances of the engine in the test cell. Power, Torque, Emissions according to regulated tests. - Dual fuel performance evaluation by Idiada (CO)
Report about the state of the art of 2013 dual-fuels. The report will provide information about the real operation of such engines/vehicles to have a clear and comprehensive comparison between MAN Dual-Fuel and 2013 units.
- MPI low pressure dual-fuel functional operation by Idiada (CO)
Report about the operation of the engine in dual-fuel mode, at a functional level. Will provide information about the operation in dual-fuel without optimization for emissions to allow the EU Comission review the status of the development and assess about the progress.
- Vehicle simulation, packaging and interfaces by MAN (CO)
Report describing the engine ECU to Vehicle Control Unit CAN-BUS interface, to allow a full integration of the Dual-Fuel engine on the vehicle. Moreover the report will include the necessary hardware interfaces such as the fuel lines, sensors and actuators to be interfaced with the Dual-Fuel unit. Vehicle integration of the LNG components in CAD.

Report including the main features and results achieved by the dual-fuel engine to fulfil the Euro VI emission level and other targets.
- LNG truck by MAN (CO)
Report of MAN demonstrator vehicle and MAN the Dual-Fuel demonstrator itself (but to remain property of MAN).
- Driveline and vehicle tests by MAN (CO)
Report describing the results of the tests on the MAN driveline test bench and under real life conditions. Moreover the report will describe the evaluation of the fuel quality sensor and the impact to the engine of different fuel qualities.
High pressure gas injection engine and vehicle integration
- Prototype injectors for SCE and ECU by Bosch (CO)
First version of HPGI injector prepared for evaluation in single-cylinder tests (HW and report).
- Optimised combustion concept by AVL (CO)
Report on development and evaluation of two different combustion concepts in a single-cylinder engine.
- Vehicle demonstration with new tank and fuel system by VOLVO (CO)
Report on installation and functionality of new LNG tank, 500 bar LNG-pump and gas regulator from WP2 in the WP6 vehicle demonstrator. The fuel system will be integrated only after performance criteria are met for the fuel system components in rig tests. - Optimised engine meeting Euro VI in WHTC by AVL (CO)
Report on optimisation and calibration of a HPGI engine meeting the Euro VI emission legislation in WHTC. - Vehicle demonstration with new engine by VOLVO (CO)
Report on installation and functionality of the optimised HPGI engine in the vehicle demonstrator. The engine will be integrated only after performance criteria are met for the engine in the test rig and after the successful integration of new fuel system components.
Independent testing and overall assessment

Report of the results from the independent testing. This report will point out if the results are in line and fulfilling the targets from the EC in terms of CO2 savings.

Report on relative product cost comparison between state of the art and new technology under serial production conditions.
Dissemination, communication and preparative exploitation activities

This document will report on the draft Exploitation Plan. The plan will include the following elements:

Newsletters will be created as HTML e-mail newsletters with links to the HD-GAS website for more detailed information. At least 3 will be created (M10, M22, M36), most likely the frequency will be higher. A copy of all newsletters are bundled in this report. - Project website and partner restricted part by UNR (PU)
The website will be designed, and a graphical project identity will be composed of visual elements that aim to represent the project. The graphical identity will include logo, fonts, colours and templates for presentations and text documents. effort for the members of the consortium. Templates includes reports, presentations, logo, database for Dissemination (stakeholders, interest groups, contact details). A short report will describe the website content and the templates.
