The University of Applied Science in Esslingen is one of the oldest engineering schools in Germany. Located in the center of the Automobile Industry the university is closely tied to the Automotive and Energy Industry in Baden- Württemberg like Daimler, Porsche, Bosch, Mahle, EnBW but as well to their broad supplier basis. The UASE supports the industry with education of about 5500 students but in addition with technology transfer programs which actual are very much focused on sustainable energy and mobility technology. The university achieves consistently high standings in different university rankings, mirroring its reputation and the quality of the scientific and engineering work.
